The Glenwood Springs race has the most adrenaline packed course of any of the races in the series. Riverboarding, Epic Single Track, Rappelling, Caving, and kayaking. - Sport Course ~50 miles – Mtn Biking, Running, Kayaking, Caving, Rappel, Navigation, Riverboarding.
- Adventure Duathlon ~45 miles – Mtn Biking, Running, Caving, Rappel, Navigation.
- Sprint Course ~25 miles – Mtn Biking, Running, Kayaking, Caving, Rappel, Navigation.
Adventure Duathlon Course: Solo male and female racers will race approximately the same course as the “Sport” course, but skipping the kayak and riverboard sections. Same great adventure course with mountain biking, trail running, ropes and navigation. You will still plot the course and use your map and navigation skills, but you will skip the paddle and riverboard.
ACA Sanctioning – Insurance coverage for the riverboarding sections is provided by the ACA. Anyone participating in the riverboard section (Sport Course) must be a member of the ACA or sign up for the single event membership for $5. Single Event Memberships can purchased at racer check-in.
